Serpa recently shipped out a two-machine pharmaceutical line for cartons with inserts. Take a look at this system in action:
First, the Serpa P120 erects cartons and presents them to the operators for hand-loading. The cartons are closed using a straight tuck and discharged.
Next, the closed cartons are fed to the Serpa ModPack, a semi-automatic case packer. An operator hand-erects the case and feeds it to the machine, where the vial cartons are picked and placed.
After product loading, the case is taped shut and discharged.
